Justin: I've been dabbling. I don't want to say working yet. I've been dabbling. I've been doing a little bit of songwriting and I'm really happy with it. I've been doing the movie so it's been kind of hard to do.

Damien: It's always interesting. You always choose such interestiong people to collaborate with. Anyone inparticular you're thinking about maybe working with or maybe, maybe...?

Justin: You know, I wish I had more information for you. I'm really, I'm definitely... I'm going to get Snoop. That's my ultimate mission. So if you're out there. Take my call when I call, Doggy Dogg.

Damien: Have you heard anything that he's been taking care of?

Trace: Um, I've heard  couple songs, I've heard a couple songs. Nothing's set though.

Justin: You know he has issues-

Justin: Well you know what's interesting, like doing films it's opening me up to a whole new form of songwriting, so you know I think with this one I've gotten a little more creative and I might play some characters on songs.

Justin: I won't go all Rick James on you, but-

Damien: Right. I understand. You're music career, like you said has been put on hold, and  you're getting into the acting thing, now you have have Black Snake moan, Alpha Dog, Edison, all movies you're going to be in. You've proved yourself as a musical entity.

Justin: Oh Thanks.

Damien: Do you feel the pressure now to prove yourself with the acting job and stuff?

Justin: Um, you know. I think at the end of the day it's like you respond to the material that you respond to, it speaks to you, and you have a great director, then you do it and it just comes together.

Damien: It is. It's great. So let's talk about the clothing line. You guys are best friends. Grew up together. Business partners. Now this is kind of interesting. You went on this William Rast clothing line, and you grandfathers had influence on this?

Justin: We, okay. Let me explain. Um no. We basically wanted to do something together in the clothing department and we're big fans of both of our grandfathers. They're big father figures for us and they taught us how to be me. You know, they're just great guys and this was a cool way to tribute them. To make a long story longer William is my grandfather's first name, and Rast is his grandfather's last name, so we put the...which was better than John Bomar which was...

Damien: the opposite.

Justin: The opposite. And we thought William Rast was better.

Damien: And you're doing something very cool. This is a clothing line but also a charitable organization in a way. Kind of. The shirt right here we have, this is. What is the tie-in with this?

Justin: At the time, when we were coming here to put everything together for Bloomingdales to release it, we got a call and obviously everybody was doing a lot of great things for hurricane Katrina and I was so busy that this would be a cool way; you know, everybody's raising money, but you have to keep the awareness up. It's a different way to do it, so we stopped production and started on this "Dance my way back to Dixielan" T shirt and we only did 1000 of them, 100% of sales Red Cross Katrina fund.

Damien: So you guys are gonna sign this?

Justin: This is my idea. When we came in, I said let's take one shirt, we're going to leave this shirt here for one month. Every guest that comes on the show has to sign this shirt.
